TWO NEW CLASSES FOR ADULTS THIS FALL
Lectio Divina
Mixed age adults – upstairs in the Benson Building
This new class will provide opportunities to meditate upon Scripture and pray together. We will learn and practice two methods of prayer: Lectio Divina and Centering Prayer. Using Lectio Divina the class will focus & meditate upon a passage of Scripture. The goal of Centering Prayer, a form of silent prayer, is to consent to God’s presence for a period of time. We will use one or both types of prayer each week.

This new class is especially for those who are looking to return to Sunday School, those who have never been a part of a Sunday School Class, or those looking for a fresh start. The Fall study will center around the book of Matthew. Contact Joel Snider for more information.

Whether it’s a messy house or a messy situation, God can restore and use you. In this 6-week study of some messy biblical people, you will learn that God uses broken people, restores broken hearts, and helps us deal with the hard moments of life. Each session focuses on a different character.
