The Pastor Search Committee invites you to join us on November 14 as we welcome David Hughes to the pulpit for a call Sunday.
Pastor Hughes is currently the Minister to Students at First Baptist Church Augusta. He has a passion for people, and he looks forward to sharing his passion with our church and community. David and his wife, Rebecca, have been married for 15 years and have a 4th grade daughter, Maggie. David is fluent in Spanish, and Rebecca is an accomplished Soprano. They have used their talents doing mission work in Chile. David is working towards his Doctor of Ministry in Church Leadership and Administration. To view Pastor Hughes’ full resume, please visit DAVID JENNINGS HUGHES. Visit FBC Augusta to watch a sermon from Pastor Hughes.
After worship on November 14, a vote to call David Hughes as our next senior pastor will be held according to our By-Laws. If you are unable to attend in person that day, please contact the church office for a ballot to be mailed to you. All completed ballots must be received by November 14.
Please make plans on attending a lunch reception in the fellowship hall following the vote to meet the Hughes family.
