Pastor Search Committee Update

The Pastor Search Committee has dedicated much time, energy and prayer to bringing a new pastor before the church to call. The Pastor Search Committee, Deacons and Ministerial staff are excited to recommend David Hughes.

Pastor Hughes is currently the Minister to Students at First Baptist Church Augusta. He has a passion for people, and he looks forward to sharing his passion with our church and community. He will preach to our congregation on November 14, and a vote will be taken on the call following worship.

David and his wife, Rebecca, have been married for 15 years and have a 4^th grade daughter, Maggie. David is fluent in Spanish, and Rebecca is an accomplished Soprano. They have used their talents doing mission work in Chile. David is working towards his Doctor of Ministry in Church Leadership and Administration.
