Everything we do in our children’s ministry at First Baptist is to help your child CONNECT (with God and others), GROW (in their faith and relationship with Jesus), LEARN (about God), and LOVE (God and others). All our activities are planned with these four goals in mind.
Nursery is provided for infants through age 3 during church services and programs on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights as well as for special events. For more information click HERE.
|Infants through age 2||Nursery on Children’s Hall|
|PreK (age 3 by August 1)||Children’s Hall across from the nursery|
|1st grade through 3rd grade||Children’s Hall across from The Oasis|
|4th grade through 6th grade||Upstairs in The Place|
We use Orange Curriculum for all our children’s Sunday School classes. Check out their app for parents called The Parent Cue. It provides simple cues throughout the week to help you connect what your child learned at church with everyday moments at home.
The presence of children in worship is to be celebrated. We offer several worship options for children including remaining in the sanctuary to worship with our entire church family, children’s church, and nursery. For more information about worship click HERE.
CAM3 is our Wednesday night program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. We meet every Wednesday night during the school year from 5:30-7:00 to learn about missions, music, and ministry.
Our preteen ministry for 5th and 6th graders is led by our children’s pastor and our student pastor. During 56ers we discuss everything from living out our faith to friendships and how to handle technology. 56ers meet once a quarter.
